blurring boundaries through movement
gradient Contemporary Ballet Debrecen, is the dance division of the Csokonai National Theatre.
The term “gradient” refers to the rate and direction of change in mathematics and, in design, represents transitions between colors.
For us, the gradient symbolizes change, motion, and the pursuit of the new.
Our art exists in the in-between spaces – between stillness and movement, strength and vulnerability, tradition and innovation.
The company participates in theatrical productions and has its own repertoire of contemporary dance performances.
By involving different genres and venues—both within and outside the theatre walls—it aims to get closer to the audience.
